Vivo X1 Becomes World’s Thinnest Smartphone at 6.55mm
GUANGDONG, China – The world’s thinnest smartphone, Vivo X1, is now available in markets across China.
For the last five months, the Oppo Finder was crowned for being the world’s thinnest smartphone, now the record belongs to newest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean-powered smartphone, Vivo X1. Although there is not much difference between their sizes, only one of phones could be awarded the title, in this case, the Vivo X1.
The phone is already available for purchase, and can be bought for CNY 2 498, in black and white. For the price, the phone brings along a 4.7-inch IPS touchscreen with 540 x 960 resolution and runs on a 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 processor. In addition, it is loaded with two cameras – an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 1.3MP front-facing camera.
For connectivity options, the handset supports 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Additionally, it features 1GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage and a microSD slot for memory expansion.
