Sony Xperia Tablet with Tegra 3 and Xperia SL Leaked

Sony Xperia tabletTOKYO, Japan – The newest additions to Sony’s line-up seem to be an Xperia tablet with Tegra 3, and the Xperia SL smartphone.

The tablet will be powered by the quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 chip and feature storage options between 16GB and 64GB, a 6 000 mAh battery rated for 10 hours on Wi-Fi browsing, 3G and Wi-Fi options, and a 8.8mm thin aluminum case.

An interesting accessory, which is still unclear whether the tablet will have as part of the retail complect or as an extra purchase, is the keyboard case. The case covers the entire tablet when it is closed, and can act as both a stand and a keyboard while it’s open. Its sleek looks reminds one of the Microsoft Surface tablet keyboard stand, but this is an idea that has been around and before.

Expected prices of the new tablet from Sony are as follows: $450 for the 16GB option, $550 for the 32GB option, and $650 for the 64GB option, but release dates are still not available.

In another leak from Sony, the unannounced Xperia SL smartphone seems to be designed not only in blue and pink but also in black, silver, and white. The phone might be announced at a Sony event held at August 29th, alongside with other new offers from the company.
