LONDON, UK – Sony has announced two new social, easy-to-use and colorful additions to the Xperia series – the Miro and Tipo Android 4.0 smartphones.
The slim and stylish Xperia phones are integrated with Facebook features such as contacts, updates and messages far and wide.
Both smartphones pack an 800MHz Qualcomm chip. While the Miro is equipped with two cameras, a front-facing VGA and a 5MP camera, the Tipo is loaded with a 3.2MP rear-camera. Each of the smartphones has 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage capacity with a microSD slot allowing to increase memory up to 32GB.
The phones also use Sony’s xLoud audio technology and benefit from Sony Entertainment Network, PlayNow and TrackID services. Lastly, both will support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and DLNA connectivity.
The two Android 4.0-powered phones will be introduced in Q3 2012. The Xperia Miro will be available in black, black/pink, white and white/gold colors and the Xperia Tipo will be rolled out in red, white, blue and black colors. Additionally, the Xperia Tipo will also be released in a dual-SIM version.
