TOKYO, Japan – In two recent leaks from Sony it is obvious that the company is planning to release two high-end devices in the tablet and smartphone worlds.
The pics of the future Xperia Tablet were published by an XDA-Developers forum member and are showing completely new design approach with sleeker and thinner forms than previous Sony tablets. There is some data about what the new tablet will hide under the hood: a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 6 000 mAh battery that will supply roughly 10 hours of Wi-Fi browsing. It is expected that the prices of the tablet start at $399 for the 16 GB version.
Even more interesting seems to be the future Xperia Mint or Xperia T (the name is still not confirmed). It will feature dual-core S4 processor by Qualcomm, a 13-megapixel Exmor camera sensor, and a 4.3-inch Bravia Engine display. From the looks of the phone it seems that it will try to tackle the high-end releases of the major competition of Sony, such as Samsung and HTC.
There is a high probability that both devices will be officially introduced at Sony’s IFA Berlin showing at 31st of August.
