Sony Xperia WebGL ChkBugReport open sourceSTOCKHOLM, Sweden – Sony Ericsson says in its blog post that it believes in openness and sharing of information, now releasing ChkBugReport and the WebGL code for the upcoming Xperia phones.

Software developers at Sony Ericsson have developed a new analysis tool called ChkBugReport, which helps to break down the information related to large unclear bug reports in a more understandable way. This tool is particularly developed for Android developers who are unable to utilize the information gathered from bug-reports, and so are unable to make it any better.

The ChkBugReport decomposes the information into several small files and then reports them through several built-in plugins, for better analysis by the users This tool is published as open source and can be used by everyone for free.

Furthermore, the open developer community of Sony Ericsson has released the WebGL implementation for its soon coming Xperia phones, which will operate on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). However, the code is still in development phase, and is expected to change as work progresses until the launch of the new Xperia phones.
