PALO ALTO, USA – The new Android app eyes-free car assistant, Robin is now available in beta through Google Play.
The app is particularly designed for drivers, offering relevant information such as real-time traffic information, navigation, weather, parking availability in designated areas and many other features.
The natural voice and gesture interface allows an eyes-free interaction through “voice in, voice out” with the app so that the driver does not have to look at their phone directly.
Furthermore, a user does not have to dig in for the app every time they need it, starting a conversation with Robin is just as easy as a hello-wave.
Magnifis, the company who developed the app, says that in reality people do not use navigational apps much, and so Robin carries some extra features that would not let the driver get bored or miss an important update. It is able to understand about the user’s choices through communication and can learn the driving pattern over time. Furthermore, the PA app can narrate Tweets, news and can share jokes according to individual’s taste.
