SEOUL, South Korea – Samsung has been on the low-profile where the Bada OS is concerned, but now it has released an updated the OS version to 1.2 for the Samsung Wave S8500.
Samsung seems to be quite keen to the Indian market as far as the Bada OS is concerned, it announced launching the Bada 2.0 update in India first, in July. The version 1.2 update brings in nothing out-of-the-blue to the Wave handset, but just the usual performance improvements, and the really small bug issues that get fixed.
The Bada OS has really been struggling, and the Indian market is more inclined towards Android and Blackberry OS, and Samsung needs to do something bigger, giving the Bada OS a complete overhaul for a successful run in the competition.
The Wave is a handset with immense potential – readers can buy the Samsung Wave by following this link – the Bada OS should do justice to it soon, with the release of Bada 2.0 soon.
