SEOUL, South Korea – The new Samsung Star Deluxe Duos S5292 dual-SIM phone is understood to be coming this December.
The Samsung S5292 was seen a few days ago on some websites without official announcement. It apparently runs on Android according to a leaked screenshot, however, to this point, all of the Samsung Star devices have been feature-phones, so it is still unclear in which category this one will fall into, since the Samsung Galaxy Pocket is the brand’s entry-level smartphone.
The phone, as suggested, will feature dual-SIM support, a 3.5-inch HVGA display and a 3.2 MP camera, besides Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 1000 mAh battery, 512MB storage capacity, in addition to microSD card support and a 312MHz processor. The latter could affect whether this ends up as a smartphone or a feature-phone.
The Samsung Star Deluxe Duos S5292 will probably be out by the end of the year with an affordable price-tag, and is likely to be a product for the market where dual-SIM phones are preferred.
