Samsung Galaxy Note II; ATIV S, Tab, PC Announced

Samsung Galaxy Note IIBERLIN, Germany – The Samsung Galaxy Note II, the latest member of the Note series, was announced together with the Ativ S, Ativ Tab and Ativ PC Windows-based devices.

Powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor, running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the Galaxy Note II is available with in-built memory capacities of 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. Its 5.5″ HD Super AMOLED screen provides crystal-clear visuals, good readability and HD video viewing experience. There’s also an 8MP rear camera and a 1.9MP front camera with HD video recording.

The S Pen has been improved with ergonomic design and extra buttons, while incorporating features such as Air View for quick glances at emails, galleries or videos, and Quick Command for frequently used apps.

Samsung has also announced three new members to its ATIV series. The ATIV TAB incorporates mobility features with Windows RT, a 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU, 2 cameras, GPS, 2 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of storage, combined with an microSD slot.

The ATIV PC’s convertible design unites the power of a notebook PC and a media tablet, powered by the new Windows 8 OS and packing an Intel Atom CPU, 2 cameras, 2 GB of RAM and impressive 9 to 13 hours of battery life.

The new Samsung ATIV S will be the first ever phone of Samsung featuring Windows Phone 8 and it will include a 4.8-inch HD AMOLED display, a 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU, 1 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of storage.
