Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Expected by the End of August

Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 reviewSEOUL, South Korea -The popular Samsung Galaxy Note is expected to be given a successor at the coming Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin on August 29th.

The improved version of the device is expected to come with a 5.5-inch display – slightly larger than the current one – as well as a faster processor and a much better camera, but exact technical details are still not available.

The release of the new Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is considered as the answer of the company to the expected introduction of the iPhone 5 by its arch-rival Apple. Both companies are engaged in an all-out war for markets and over patent rights with Samsung seemingly winning on marketshare, while Apple is set to focus in the trials concerning the use of its patent technologies and designs.

There are expectations that Apple will also speed up the release of the iPhone 5 at a major product launch on September 12th instead of the expected date in October.
