SEOUL, South Korea – Samsung this month announced two additions to its Galaxy line of Android handsets: the Galaxy Mega and the Galaxy Win.

The Galaxy Mega 6.3 is a lower-end, albeit a bigger, alternative to the 4.99-inch Galaxy S4 and the 5.55-inch Galaxy Note 2. It’s a massive smartphone, sporting a 6.3-inch HD display.

Other than the massive display and giant 3,200mAh battery, the Galaxy Mega 6.3’s other features belong to a mid-range phone: 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, Wi-Fi, LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, 8MP rear and 1.9MP front-facing cameras, 8 or 16GB internal memory, and microSD card slot.

The Galaxy Mega 5.8 is yet another choice in the middle of the screen-real-estate offers, with a 5.8″ QHD display, a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and GLONASS, 8GB storage, 1.5GB RAM and an 8 megapixel camera.

The Galaxy Win is packaged as a cheaper version to the flagship Galaxy S4. The handset’s specs are not top notch but are still impressive: Android (Jelly Bean), 1.2GHz quad core processor, 4.7 inch display, 5-megapixel camera, and 2,000mAh battery.
