Samsung Galaxy Everywhere, Grand, Note 8.1, Godiva Coming Soon

SEOUL, South Korea – Samsung will soon be bringing some new devices to the market including the Galaxy Grand and Godiva, together with an 8-inch Galaxy Note thought to be first showcased at MWC 2013, while the Korean company says it has sold over 100 million Galaxy S phones collectively.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand, announced in December, is now expected to be released this February throughout Europe and other markets. The specs sheet consist of dual-SIM support, 5-inch WVGA display running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, 1.2GHz dual-core chipset, multi-window multi-tasking, HSDPA, dual-band Wi-Fi, 8MP main camera with LED flash, 2MP front camera, 8GB internal storage, 1GB RAM, microSD slot, Bluetooth 4.0 and 2,100 mAh battery. However, the price of about €409 or $547 seems quite high for the product.

Samsung Mobile CEO JK Shin confirms that an 8-inch Galaxy Note 8 will be launched at MWC 2013, as reported by iNEWs24. It is speculated that the device will be equipped with a 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos processor.

A smartphone for Verizon, nicknamed as Samsung Godiva, is also said to be releasing soon. This phone is believed to have a 720p HD display with Android 4.1.2 OS and NFC support.

Finally, Samsung’s Flickr page reports that ever since the debut of first Samsung Galaxy S phone, about two years and 7 months ago, the company has now sold more than 100 million units of the popular brand.
