DORSET, UK – Although no official word of releasing the Galaxy Beam has been heard of yet from Samsung, the phone is available for pre-order on Clove.
The phone can be purchased by UK residents for a price of £442.80, including VAT. This may seem a high price for a phone packing a 1GHz dual-core chip under 4-inch TFT screen and running on Android Gingerbread, but it should not be forgotten that Galaxy Beam features a built-in pico projector rated at 15 lumens.
As PhoneRPT reported earlier, this projector smartphone allows users to share videos, information, photos, maps and games instantly on a 50-inches wide expandable HD projection, both indoors and outdoors.
Furthermore, it has a 5MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera in addition to 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage with microSD slot. For all that, the price may now appear much reasonable.
However, the exact date for the Samsung Galaxy Beam’s release in UK is not disclosed as yet, but it is expected to come out in India during April.
