PowerTrekk Allows Users to Recharge Smartphone With…Water!

PowerTrekk water rechargerLAS VEGAS, USA – The latest travel charger was introduced in CES 2012 – It is called PowerTrekk and uses the innovative burning cell technology to provide easy and reliable recharges anywhere.

PowerTrekk uses a PowerPukk tank filled with sodium silicate, which is used to disassemble water into hydrogen gas. After this, the gas is supplied to myFC’s proprietary FuelCellSticker, which takes care of the power production swiftly and in an eco-friendly manner. The post products of the power production are easily disposable and recyclable.

To start the charging process by PowerTrekk users just need to add clean water in the water tank and initiate the charging. One PowerPukk charge tank can recharge two to tree times a high-tech smartphone, but it may be used as well for virtually every battery operated device, which supports charging through USB port.

PowerTrekk units will hit the market in May, 2012 with retail price of $229, while PowerPukk charge tanks will cost less then $4.
