Pictures: Lumia 900 Batman Dark Knight Rises Priced For South Africa

GLOBAL – Nokia has launched the new limited edition Windows Phone Lumia 900 Dark Knight Rises and announced its release date in South Africa.

The phone runs on Windows Phone 7.5 and carries all popular Nokia apps such as Nokia Music, Nokia Drive, Nokia Map and Nokia App highlights. It sports a 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED touchscreen and is equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 1MP front HD camera.

What makes this smartphone special are the The Dark Knight Rises features. The phone will come with jet black polycarbonate body with a laser-etched iconic Batman logo at the back. Further, the phone has a black and grey theme and the Dark Knight Rises app that updates on all latest news, trailers and images. The limited edition phone also features exclusive character wallpapers, ringtones and a game “Claim Gotham City”.

The Nokia Lumia 900 The Dark Knight Rises will be rolled out from today in the UK and can be purchased from Phones4U for £599.99 Sim-free or free on a £31 per month contract. In South Africa it will be available from MTN from the 28th of June.
