Nokia Releases Monster Headphones, JBL Wireless Speakers

Nokia JBL PlayUp portable wireless speakerESPOO, Finland – Nokia demonstrated Purity Pro wireless headphones by Monster, and with JBL it launched wireless PlayUp speakers for the Lumia line.

A range of wireless speakers with dynamic design and efficient acoustics is expected to be offered under a partnership between Nokia and Harman’s JBL brand. Bluetooth technology should provide wireless connectivity between the mobile device and the speaker, while the latest Lumia phones based on Windows Phone 8 would be capable of providing connectivity through NFC.

The JBL PlayUp Portable Wireless Speaker for Nokia, resulting from a former collaboration between JBL and Nokia, has been released during the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin. The speakers guarantee good sound quality while promoting multidirectional sound distribution. Natural tone balance, better clarity and spatial definition are known to be special features of the new device.

With a maximum output of 89dB, the PlayUp Portable offers easy connectivity to Lumia phones via Bluetooth, or through NFC in case of latest handsets running Windows Phone 8. Built with durable double-shot plastics, it is available in cyan, white, black and yellow colors. A replaceable battery guarantees over 10 hours of continuous music; while a carrying pouch, microUSB charger and 3.5mm audio cable are available as additional accessories.

The Nokia Purity Pro Wireless Stereo Headset by Monster has also been introduced at IFA, Berlin. The headset offers Bluetooth and one-touch pairing with NFC for wireless connectivity to your phone. Bluetooth and noise cancellation activate automatically once users unfold the headset and stay on until it is folded up again. The Purity Pro comes in a range of colors, namely white, black, red and yellow.
