Nokia Planning Cloud Service, Shows Phone and Tablet Concepts

Nokia Air cloudESPOO, Finland – In a recently leaked video it is revealed that Nokia is planning to offer its own cloud service under the name Nokia Air. Several phone and tablet concepts were also shown.

From the video it is obvious that all currently available Nokia services will be executable from the cloud and that future devices of the company will have to take care of start screens and notifications on their own, while most of extra functionality will be transferred to the cloud.

The interface of the cloud is Symbian-like for the moment, so one could make the presumption that this service was plotted even before the strategic alliance between Microsoft and Nokia.

It is still uncertain when and whether this cloud service will be available and will it be available only to Symbian-powered phones. No information is available on the earliest moment of release of the Nokia Air service and on the amount of storage space that it will offer.
