ESPOO, Finland – Nokia has launched yet another budget smartphone, the Nokia 225, and the manufacturer proudly calls it its “slimmest Internet phone”.

Nokia 225 dual SIM

The Nokia 225 is a dual-SIM handset that hosts a 2.8” display with physical keypad buttons under it. It has a built-in Xpress browser that helps in considerably reducing data costs as it optimizes the incoming searched content to the device thereby resulting into faster browsing speeds at lower costs, similarly to what Opera Mini does. It has baked-in Twitter and Facebook apps, along with Bing search.

Its other features include built-in FM Radio with MP3 support, where the device offers a playback time of nearly 51 hours. The 225 has famous pre-loaded games, such as Assassins Creed, Block Breaker 3, Real Football 2012, Asphalt 6 and the Avengers.

The phone has a provision for up to 32GB of expandable storage so that users can put additional content in their device. At its back it holds a 2MP camera.

The Nokia 225 offers a substantial 36 hours of standby time for single SIM whereas for dual SIM it is 27 hours. It will launch in the second quarter of this year at EUR 39, in five different color options of green, red, yellow, black and white.
