No Chargers Needed: Daxian N100i Plugs Directly into Socket
BEIJING, China – Chinese manufacturer Daxian has unveiled a mobile phone that can be plugged directly into a socket, without the need of charger.
Shanzhai phones have been in the market for a considerable time now, and like the OEMs, their makers have been trying to put in new features on the devices.
Richard Lai from Engadget came across the Daxian N100i, which readers may find a little awkward. The back cover of the phone has to be taken off to reveal Type A plug that can be inserted in.
The device is said to be a lookalike of Xiaomi Phone 2. Inside it holds a dual-core 1GHz MT6517 processor and 4GB of storage, along with a microSD slot. The phone has two cameras, front and back, each of 3.1MP.
The Daxian N100i costs about US$ 80 and runs on Google Android.
