3D iPad technologyTOKYO, Japan – Ever wanted 3D on your iPad? A Japanese company called NewSight has developed a new technology which facilitates just that.

Kiyoto Kanda has developed a new type of film which allows users to view 3D content while maintaining the multitouch ability of the device. A special application runs on the tablet which in conjunction with the film layer demonstrates 3D images. The technique works only for images and as such is limited in its scope. But if the user is one of those who is already toting a 3D camera and wants to view the content on the iPad , this is the ideal solution.
