Mobile World Congress, BARCELONA - Stick-N-Find Technologies has announced new developments to its popular ultra-small Bluetooth location sticker, StickNFind.
In December, StickNFind debuted on crowd funding platform Indiegogo and raised a total of $ 931 970. Just months later, the quarter-sized, disc-shaped stickers that can be attached to anything and tracked via a smartphone app is already slated to arrive in shelves.
At the MWC 2013 expo in Barcelona, the company announced that its smart tags now have a redesigned and easier-to-use smartphone app, extended range of 150 feet with the use of a custom antenna, non-absorbant plastic casing, and tracking accuracy within two inches.
The company has not yet identified its retail partners but confirmed that it will be available for mass use in April, with some units shipping as soon as this week.
Stick-N-Find Technologies is also set to release in April its Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS enabled location tracker, the BluTracker, which now has a range of 2500 feet, and allows users to view a log of locations by day, week or month.
