Mobile World Congress, BARCELONA - Chinese manufacturer Huawei has announced a new smartphone that is touted to be the world’s fastest 4G LTE smartphone, the Huawei Ascend P2.
The announcement came as a part of Huawei’s participation in last week’s MWC 2013. The Huawei Ascend P2 supports ultrafast 4G LTE connectivity up to 150 Mbps.
The device comes loaded with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and its 1.5 GHz quad-core processor ensures smooth computing. The 4.7-inch IPS display screen of this device offers visuals in full HD resolution, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2.
The phone has a 13 MP primary camera, which can be used for clicking pictures in great quality, while a 1.3 MP secondary camera is also available for video calls. Its 2420 mAh battery seems sufficient to provide enough power.
The Huawei Ascend P2 is expected to hit the global markets in the second quarter of 2013.
