GLOBAL - A new range of handsets to be released have been announced by Motorola, and include the white RAZR, the MotoLuxe, Glem+, Xoom 2 tablet and Defy Mini.
The first of the new handsets is the Motorola MOTOLUXE, which has been created for the more fashion conscious user with its stylish, ultra-compact design. The device comes with a 4 inch touchscreen, Android 2.3 OS installed and an 8 megapixel camera amongst its many features. The Motorola MOTOLUXE is due for release in the UK in February whilst a March release date is expected for users in Germany.
Users in Germany will, however, be the first to get the new Motorola DEFY MINI which is due out in March and has been made specifically for users that are looking for a more rugged, durable handset. The handset comes with 3.2 inch touchscreen display, an Android OS, 3 megapixel camera all inside a case that is extremely hardwearing.
Also releasing in Germany during March is the Motorola GLEAM+,one of the budget models in the new Motorola range that offers users a low-cost, slim-line clamshell handset that measures just 13.5mm and has been elegantly designed for those looking for a more stylish phone.
Two new tablets are also being added to the range and will be launched in Greece by the end of February. The two tablets are the Motorola XOOM 2 and the Motorola XOOM 2 Media edition and will both come with 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The remaining handset will be launching in the Middle East with the United Arab Emirates getting the white Motorola RAZR as well as the original black model. The device offers users a 4.3 inch super AMOLED Advanced display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3.5 OS, an 8 megapixel camera and a host of other features.
