LIBERTYVILLE, USA – Motorola Mobility introduced its latest smartphone, the Motorola RAZR i, developed in partnership with Intel. It will be available in selected European and Latin American markets by October.
The RAZR i can achieve up to 2GHz with its Intel Atom processor. It features a Super AMOLED Advanced 4.3-inch display with virtually no border, making the overall design small and compact. Its frame is made of diamond-cut aircraft-grade aluminum, and the display is guarded by Corning Gorilla Glass. The back is made of DuPoint KEVLAR. The phone is protected by a splash-guard coating.
The smartphone also features an 8MP camera, which takes less than a second to load. It has a multi-shot mode for 10 consecutive shots in one second, along with HDR capabilities and an illuminated sensor on the back for clear shots under inadequate lighting.
The battery is over 40-percent more powerful than that of the iPhone 4S, whose longevity is enhanced by the built-in SMARTACTIONS battery savings-rule. Running Android 4.0 ICS upgradable to Jelly Bean, the RAZR i comes with various features like Google Play, turn-by-turn directions via Google Maps and Voice Actions for Android.
