MINSK, Belarus – A full review of the new LG Nexus 4 has been put forth by a Belarusian website, ahead of its official announcement.
The device is quite similar to the Galaxy Nexus, with a plain black face and the phrase ‘with Google’ on the back. However, the bezel has a chrome ring around it, while the glossy back features a peculiar dotted pattern. The LG Nexus 4 uses an LCD panel with 1280 x 768 (HD) in resolution. Although the current prototype runs on Android 4.1.2, the final version is expected to be powered by Android 4.2.
Benchmarks of the LG Nexus 4, such as 8GB of internal storage, are also significantly lower than those of the Galaxy Nexus, which features 2GB of RAM and a quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor.
Images captured by its rear 8MP camera are smudged and significantly poor in white balance. However, it’s expected that the final device launched on October 29th will include some major improvements compared to this prototype.
