Just like Asus' offers, versatility is also on Lenovo's strategy, as it offers a keyboard docking station and even a stylus which acts as a "true pen" for "sketching and note-taking". For business users and photographers alike, the USB port will prove as an excellent addition.
In terms of specifications, the tablet brings a dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, a 10.1" IPS touchscreen capacitive display with 1280x800 pixels in resolution, an SD memory card slot, microUSB connectivity, mini-HDMI. On the network side, users will find Wi-Fi, 3G and even 4G.
The handheld will retail in three different versions, with the differences being the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage size.
The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet will be available from June 2011, with prices beginning at US$499. Those who prefer not to wait can always buy the iPad 2 tablet, which will certainly be a worthy competitor.
