Lenovo Launches Waterproof Android Smartphone A660
BEIJING, China – Keeping up its pace with the rest of the leaders in smartphone industry, Lenovo has announced a new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwitch smartphone named Lenovo A660, soon after announcing their quad-core IdeaPhone K860.
The A660 is special as being the first waterproof mobile device from Lenovo. It is dustproof, as it is IP67-certified. Available in several colors, it is also quite slim, measuring only 10.5mm in thickness.
The new member is known to be a dual-SIM phone. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, and has a 1500mAh battery. Its 4-inch WVGA display provides fine graphics, and is made of durable Gorilla Glass for extra durability.
The Lenovo A660 is known to feature 3G support too. It has a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front camera. Although details about its price and availability are not available at the moment, it is believed that the A660 will probably be released in China first.
