Jens-Peter OlssonJOHANNESBURG, South Africa and SKANE, Sweden – As part of our expansion project, PhoneReport has added a Nokia-affairs correspondent to the team, to better address news and reports on the world’s largest mobile phone manufacturer.

Jens-Peter Olsson, 38, will report on the latest news and announcements from Nokia, as well as provide in-depth reviews and insights relevant to the market and end-users.

Nokia’s move into the internet space are reflecting in the company’s software and even hardware fields – in these economically-critical times it is important to act creatively and in an original form. The brand expects to maintain or even increase its reputation and marketshare in this heavily-fought industry.

Olsson, besides working in technical writing, is a computer consultant within the software development field, specialising in .NET and Java. Over the past three years he has owned a Nokia N70, N93, N95, and now possesses a N97.

The journalist has kept his trust in Nokia as he believes that it is “important to promote open standards and that it should be up to consumers to decide the content on their mobile phones, not up to the manufacturers”. He looks forward to the continuation of the battle between Symbian, Google Android, and the iPhone OS – our readers can expect relevant coverage pertaining to this and other topics.
