Recently released reports from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggest that Apple will pitch its iWatch in the high-end segment and may “carry a price tag of several thousand U.S. dollars”. However, another report from Sun Chang Xu, chief analyst of ESM-China says that the iWatch will be a rather cheap device and will cost close to $77 to manufacture, but its asking price could be nearly 5.3 times higher, close to $265.

The latter analyst further forecasts that Apple could make more that 50% margin with these prices. How concrete this details are can’t be said at the moment as there are no confirmations from where this news are coming.

Ming-Chi Kuo is known for a good record of reporting unreleased products from Apple. He has mentioned that the iWatch will offer a flexible AMOLED display covered with Sapphire glass, measuring 1.3 to 1.5-inch. The device is believed to host features that include wireless charging, NFC, as well fitness monitor sensors.
