iPhone 5 Photos Leaked, its Nano SIMs Distributed in Germany

Jimmy Lin Apple iPhone 5TAIPEI, Taiwan – Popular Taiwanese-born pop star from China Jimmy Lin has leaked several details and images of the new Apple iPhone 5, which is expected to be released this month.

Apple watchers believe this leak to be another hype of Apple, intended for the popularity of its new iPhone upon release.

According to a Weibo update on September 1st by dreamerjimmy (the online name of Jimmy Lin on Weibo), the new device is said to be made of the same aluminium alloy used in iPad. Being thinner than its predecessors, it’s also expected to have a 4″ screen. He has also released a photo collection of the new iPhone, suggesting that Apple has offered Jimmy Lin an iPhone 5 prior to its official release.

Meanwhile, ahead of the release of iPhone 5, Germany’s Deutsche Telekom has started distributing nano-SIM cards to its partners. This is the first significant breakthrough since the approval of Apple’s nano-SIM design by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute in June.
