Hybrid GSM-CDMA iPhone 4S on its Way

iPhone 4S 5 designCUPERTINO, USA – It is very likely that the iPhone 4S will be a world phone with both CDMA-GSM capability, and that it will make its way into the market sooner than expected.

According to sources, the Apple iPhone 4S will be making way to the Verizon network, adding hybrid GSM-CDMA capability, with a separate SIM card slot for countries other than the United States.

The design outlays and information given by sources describe the Apple iPhone 4 CDMA version to have a “narrower front receiver slit”, an addition to all this would be an antennae for the 5GHz wavelength of 802.11n wireless networking.

The next-gen iPhone, which is fondly called the iPhone 4S or the iPhone 5, is believed to go into production in August, just before an expected release of September, 2011.

Many believe that the next-gen iPhone will receive very slight modifications from the current iPhone 4. The iOS5 smartphone is expected to sport the A5 chip processor from the iPad, and also a 8-megapixel camera made by Omnivision.
