Huawei Ascend D2, Zync Z5 Join the Phablet Race

Huawei Ascend D2GLOBAL – Chinese manufacturer Huawei and Indian maker Zync have joined the phablet race by announcing the Huawei Ascend D2, and the Zync Z5, respectively.

The first phablet Рthe Huawei Ascend D2 Рhas a screen measuring 5 inches diagonally with HD resolution, a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. In addition, it comprises a 13MP back camera and a battery with 3 000 mAh in capacity. The Ascend D2 aims at competing against the Galaxy Note II from Samsung and the Oppo Find 5.

The second phablet is the Zync Z5, a device with dual-SIM support. It also has a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a 1 GHz processor, 512MB DDR3 RAM and 4GB internal memory. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and has two cameras: an 8 MP autofocus rear camera and a 0.3 MP front camera. Its battery has 2500 mAh in capacity, and it comes with pre-installed Office Suite, Aldiko e-Book Reader, Bollywood Hungama, the Daily Horoscope, ibibo Games, BigFlix and Zomato applications. The Zync Z5 is excellent competitor against phablets such as the iBall Andi 5c, and the newest Micromax A110. It also comes with a 4GB memory card in the box.
