TAOYUAN CITY. Taiwan – As consumers await for the HTC Wildfire C to be launched sometime during this quarter, leaks suggest a new entry-level phone codenamed HTC Golf will also be hitting the market around same time.
The source tips that the Golf will pack a single-core, sub-gigahertz processor. The phone will feature HTC Sense 4.0, while it will run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. This device will also allow connectivity through Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Hinting at memory, it is said to have 512MB of RAM and 4GB built-in storage space with a microSD slot for expandable memory. To top it off, the HTC Golf will be shipped with same free 25GB Dropbox cloud storage offer for two years as the One X, S and V.
Lastly, it will be loaded with a rear-facing 5MP camera and front-facing webcam.
The HTC Golf would supposedly occupy its place below the One Series family, though it will take few aspects of those phones too.
