HTC One M8 Harman Kardon Edition Arrives at Sprint
OVERLAND PARK, USA – HTC and Sprint took the center stage at an event to announce the special edition HTC One M8 Harman/Kardon, which is an audio-centric smartphone, and will be sold exclusively in US by Sprint.
The major change that the Harman/Kardon M8 edition brings is its audio experience, where the handset offers lossless HD audio via a 24 bit/192kHz DAC. The DAC delivers up to six times more information than compact disc music, and nearly sixty times the information of MP3 music streaming while playing FLAC files.
This edition will also feature the special Harman Clari-Fi application which is used to build the tracks’ audio quality that gets lost during compression. Its other specs include a 5” 1080p display, 2.3GHz quad-core CPU with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC, Android 4.4.2 KitKat and an Ultra Pixel camera. Moreover, the device will be shipped with Harman/Kardon AE-S headphones. Interested users can also buy the Harman/Kardon Onyx Studio speaker for $99.99, reduced from its actual price of $399.99.
Sprint customers will also receive six months free Spotify premium if they carry Sprint’s Family plan. This special edition is currently available for online order and at the retail stores. The HTC One M8 Harman/Kardon can be purchased on a 24-month contract of $28.34 with no down payment.
