SEOUL, South Korea –  The SE-218BB might not have the most thrilling name in the history, but it is something that Samsung expects to revolutionize the market for tablets and ultrabooks.

This new product is an optical drive which is about 1/5 thinner than existing stereotype DVD recorders and 1/10 in weight.

That turned out. to be the slimmest optical drive in the world with its only 14 mm of thickness. It plugs in through a USB port, which delivers data and power supply. It runs on Android Honeycomb  3.1 or later.
