Evidence of Video Chat in Fourth Generation iPhone Piles Up

GLOBAL – The next-generation iPhone is widely believed to feature the much-requested video-calling feature with the prototype leaks in California and Vietnam consistently showing a front facing camera. Further, the SDK of the iPhone OS 4.0 reveals the presence of video calling feature within the platform.

Continuing the consistent leaks and rumours, Sam Mendes, the award-winning director of American Beauty, is believed to be working on a string of iPhone 4G advertisements. Based on Twitter status updates of two artists in the United States of America, who are auditioning for the role, the possibility of video-calling being included in the iPhone OS 4.0 is almost confirmed.

Video-calling is one of the primary attractions for telcos to push 3G-enabled handsets in the market. However, with the absence of a front facing camera in the third-generation3G-enabled iPhone, the demand for this feature figures at the top spot in public requests. The addition of this feature may silence the critics, apart from further catapulting iPhone to the top spot in smartphone sales.
