Comparison: HTC One X vs Samsung Galaxy S III

HTC One X vs Samsung Galaxy S IIIIt is widely touted that the HTC One X‘s next rival, the Samsung Galaxy S III, will also be released in the Q2 2012.

Previously, the comparison between HTC One X and LG Optimus 4X discovered the two phones to be carrying almost same specs. Moving along, the probable Galaxy S III is now being compared to HTC One X, although there is on confirmation on whether the phone really exists.

However, following the leaked information, we believe that the Galaxy S III will run on a 1.8GHz dual-core processor as opposed to the 1.5GHz quad-core processor powering the HTC One X, though both the smartphones will operate on Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

The Galaxy S III is said to have 4.6-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen while the One X has a 4.7inch Super IPS LCD2 touchscreen but both support multi-touch.

Coming to the camera, the Galaxy S III is suggested to be loaded with a 12MP autofocus camera with LED flash and a front camera of 2MP while One X carries a 8MP autofocus LED flash camera and 1.3MP front camera.

Examining along, both of the phones support connectivity through HSDPA, WiFi, bluetooth, NFC and USB, while the S3 will also come with LTE. Taking further, the Galaxy S III will have 2GB in RAM, 16GB internal memory with a microSD slot for expandable memory of up to 32GB, on the contrary HTC does not feature the card slot but a 32GB internal storage with 1GB RAM. Both of the phones are said to have sensors of accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass.

Nevertheless, the Samsung Galaxy S III is still a rumor and may not even be present altogether, though it is much talked about lately.
