LAS VEGAS, USA – When Liquipel was first introduced in the 2012 CES, it offered a better way of protecting a smartphone from water spills. The advanced nano-coating technology in Liquipel provided an invisible protective coating for smartphones and it seemed way better than protective cases or any other traditional methods.
The recently concluded CES 2013 witnessed the launch of Liquipel 2.0 which is said to be more effective than the previous version. As per Liquipel, the upcoming version is 100 times better than its predecessor. Smartphones need to be treated with Liquipel in order to have the waterproof coating. The speciality about Liquipel is that it coats the entire device with nano-particles which are capable of protecting the device from water.
Unlike its predecessor, Liquipel 2.0 will be soon available at malls in Canada and the US. At first, top-end models, such as the Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S III will be treated with this process, which costs around $60 and can protect a smartphone or tablet from water throughout its lifetime.
