TOKYO, Japan - Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies for Android was recently released in the Google Play Store.
For the moment the release is exclusively for 30 days on Sony’s Xperia smartphones, including Sony’s Xperia Play Optimized devices including the Xperia Play, Xperia S and Xperia Ion.
The game is a part of the popular Call of Duty franchise, developed for Android by Glu Mobile, but the story-line is based on active duty military called against an army of the living dead fighting over a collection of classic CoD maps. After the exclusive 30 days period every Android user may also purchase the game for EUR 5.49.
It seems that the game has made through alternative sources for other devices already, as it was hacked and made downloadable for everyone. Apart from being illegal, this requires a rooted device and it is downloadable at the risk of the user, as such sources may not be trusted.
