REDMOND, USA – A Russian blog reports that the Windows Phone Tango update will help run on lower-end handsets with only 256MB RAM.
It is said that the number of pre-installed apps will be increased from 16 to 40 including Skype and Google+, while Tango will be capable of downloading apps and updates through Zune automatically, and will now support several new countries.
New features have been added to this Windows Phone iteration, which will allow importing and exporting contacts on SIM directly. All along, the bugabear has also been fixed so now different formats can be attached to a single MMS that is pictures, video and sound.
In addition, new settings will be incorporated for Roaming including no, domestic or international roaming.
However, the phone will only support video streams lesser than 4 MB, and will not be able to manage podcasts. Further more, pictures will not be uploaded to Skydrive automatically now.
