JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – The BlackBerry Z10 is an effort that could mark a revolution in the company previously known as Research in Motion.

It is hardly  a new device, having been announced at the end of January this year, but it is the first time I’ve had it for such a long uninterrupted time, therefore I believe it deserves a full review. As a software developer, I’ve been playing with the simulator from December 2012; and since I’ve had the BlackBerry Playbook from last year, I was no beginner to QNX, now known as BlackBerry 10.

BlackBerry Z10 BB10 hands-on review

The BlackBerry Z10 is a full-touch smartphone that has a 4.2″ display with HD resolution (768 x 1280 pixels), a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor and 2 GB of RAM, an Adreno 225 GPU, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi, NFC, 16 GB storage space, an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and full HD video recording, GPS, a 1800 mAh battery, and 4G connectivity on certain variants.

The smartphone is available in both white and black, with the latter version being my review unit, as evident in the images.
