WATERLOO, Canada – BlackBerry 10 will be released on January 30th, 2013, according to an official statement from Research in Motion.
Thorsten Heins, Research in Motion CEO, announced in a press release that the BlackBerry 10 Launch event would be held around the end of the first month of the next year.
The BlackBerry 10 roadmap that leaked earlier this year showed that BlackBerry 10 L and N were to be unleashed in Q1 2013, seems to be true. Although it was then claimed there would be a three-to-four week gap between the European launch and American launch of the device, the latest statement says the event will take place concurrently in multiple countries around the world.
The newest BlackBerry devices have professed to bring along new features, such as BlackBerry Flow, which allows access to notifications, contacts, emails instantly, BlackBerry Hub for information and updates from contacts, BlackBerry Balance, and an innovative BlackBerry keyboard.
BlackBerry 10 L images have also leaked (pictured above), posing against the Apple iPhone 5. The BlackBerry 10 device looks slightly wider than the Apple device, although both have a similar length – the interesting specifications are not yet known.
