SANTA MONICA, USA – Dr Dre and Jimmy Lovine have introduced a pill-like Bluetooth speaker with NFC, Beats Pill.
The speaker is a lightweight portable device that is designed just like a pill and very easy to carry around. It features NFC-pairing to tag itself with other devices. It can be paired with any Android, iOS or Windows-based devices via a Bluetooth 4.0 to provide quality music sound.
Beats Pill has four built-in one-inch speakers with a mic, input and output port, besides a USB charging port. The battery time is about 7-hours, slightly short compared to its direct competitor Jawbone Jambox, and costs about the same $200.
In addition, Beats Pill can also be used during calls to double the volume and go freehand with a mic added just for the purpose.
Beats Pill is available from today in white, black and red at all Beats store and authorized partner retailers.
