DALLAS, USA – There are leaked snapshots of the HTC Holiday (an unconfirmed device from HTC) running on AT&T’s 4G LTE network. The HTC Holiday will be the first addition to the AT&T’s 4G LTE-enabled smartphone portfolio.
When the device was tested with 4G LTE active connection in the Dallas/Forth Worth area of Texas, the speed was a “path-breaking” 29Mbps, much faster than’s Verizon’s 4G LTE. So far the AT&T’s 4G LTE network lies idle as there are no compatible handsets up for offering, but the speeds are the fastest and this should work very well once launched.
On the hardware front, the HTC Holiday is rumoured to run on the Android 2.3.4, a mammoth sized 4.5-inch qHD display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor under-the-hood, 8-megapixel snapper, and the iconic HTC Sense 3.0 UI.
The HTC Holiday is due for a launch in a few months time on the AT&T network, with the result this beast is throwing up, AT&T could not have a better first 4G LTE smartphone added to its line-up.
