Apple Refused Selling iPad to US Citizen who Spoke Persian

Sahar Sabet New iPad Apple Persian IranALPHARETTA, USA – Tech heavyweight Apple refused to sell a New iPad to 19-year-old US citizen Sahar Sabet after she was heard speaking Persian in the Apple store.

Sabet, student at the University of Georgia, owns a Macbook Pro and an iPhone, and visited a local Apple store to buy an iPad for her cousin.

As she was heard talking the Iranian language with her uncle, employees working at the store denied to sell her the device.

A staff member declined to sell her the Apple product insisting on the rules put forward by the US government that no Apple product should directly or indirectly be sold by a US citizen to Iran without the knowledge of the government.

However, the girl quietly left the store, ordered the Apple iPad 3 through the internet and later informed a local news station about the treatment she received from the Apple store workers.
