CUPERTINO, USA – Reports suggest that the long-rumoured Apple iPad Mini will be hitting the markets by the end of this month.
The iPad mini has been part of rumors for years now, however, this is the first time that the device has somewhat a confirmed status and a more realistic mock-up. Tips from different sources claim that a 7.85-inch tablet is already under production at a Foxconn factory in Brazil.
Adding to the pipeline are other rumors that hint that Apple would be sending out invitations for unveiling-event of iPad Mini on the 10th of October, while the event itself will take place on the 17th. Further, if the iPhone maker is to follow the recent schedule of launches, then the device is most likely to reach the markets by 26th of October.
The recent mock-up shows an iPad Mini with a 7.85-inch screen, trimmed-out side bezels, a front and a back camera, and speakers located at the bottom.
In related news, an internal error from Apple’s iCloud management has granted 25GB of free storage space to users who shifted from MobileMe to iCloud, rather than cutting it down to 5GB, as stated by the company earlier in May. Moreover, the plan’s renewal date now appears to be 2050. It is still unclear whether it is a program error or just an account error.
