Acer E110 and P300 Unveiled

TAIPEI , Taiwan – Acer, the world’s second-largest personal computer manufacturer also dabbles in smartphones. While it may not have a significant marketshare, it have dabbled in producing some quite intriguing devices. The latest in its line of smartphones are the Acer E110 and Acer P300.

The Acer E110 pictured left is an Android-based device. Probably running Android 2.0, the E110 features HSDPA connectivity, A-GPS, Bluetooth, a touchscreen display of unknown resolution, and four touch-sensitive keys below the display.

Another new Acer smartphone is the P300 (below), which is based on Windows Mobile. The handset features HSDPA and HSUPA connectivity, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g.

Not much is known about these devices, which are being manufactured by Chi Mei Communication Systems (part of Foxconn). We can expect more information at the Mobile World Congress from Monday. the 14th.
