ZTE Launches Grand Memo II, Open C with Firefox OS

BARCELONA, Spain – ZTE announced the Android-based ZTE Grand Memo II and two ZTE Open C Firefox OS phones at the Mobile World Congress 2014.

The ZTE Grand Memo sports a 6” IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3 covering over 80% of its surface. The manufacturer introduced the MiFavor 2.3 UI with a variety of new icons making an interactive and easy-to-use user experience.

ZTE Grand Memo II

The smartphone features Android KitKat 4.4 OS with other integrated functions, such as weather forecast, calendar, notebook and others. Its audio playback provides a Smart PA and 3D surround sound.

The ZTE Grand Memo II offers a 3200mAh battery allowing 16 hours of continuous HD video playback. There’s a 13MP primary and 5MP secondary camera and the handset powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor.

The device is believed to first launch in China this April and later to North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Along with the Grand Memo II, ZTE also launched two new smartphones based on Firefox OS, named ZTE Open C and ZTE Open II. The company plans to ship nearly a million units of them by the end of 2014.

ZTE Open C Firefox OS

The ZTE Open C comes with a powerful dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor. The device is supported by a 1400mAh battery providing up to at least six to eight hours of watching videos and playing music.

The ZTE Open C will be available in six different color variants of white, light blue, turquoise, dark blue, red and orange.
