Samsung Demos Galaxy S5 16MP ISOCELL Sensor
SEOUL, South Korea – The Samsung Galaxy S5 was released a month ago at the MWC 2014, and now the company is explaining the technology behind its ISOCELL camera sensor.
The Galaxy S5 is the first camera-phone from Samsung that sports a 16 mega-pixel sensor, and along with it the company introduces its new ISOCELL camera sensor technology for better imaging in low-light conditions.
The video above explains few of the technical aspects of the sensors, starting by outling the exponential growth of sharing photographic images. Samsung says that it understands the needs of today’s world and has made a significant leap in image sensing technology and thus brought to its users this “ground-breaking” ISOCELL technology, which by reducing cross-talk (noise) and adding filters produces real-to-life images. Further, the video explains few of the technical aspects of the sensor that allow it to capture low-light images
The Samsung Galaxy S5 release date is scheduled for next month, but the price has not been announced.
