The LG G Flex is a successful outcome from the efforts of two LG companies – LG Display and LG Chem. The 6-inch display in LG G Flex is developed using Plastic OLEDs instead of glass to give it the necessary bent required. The role of LG Chem involves in making the curved batteries with a 3500 mAh support. The back coating of LG G Flex is made up of self-healing coating that will fight against the daily wear and tear that occurs with a smartphone body.

Its key features include a 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM, 13MP rear and 2.1MP front camera, Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2, a 3500mAh battery, NFC along with Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity.
